Florence Vacation Rentals
Vacation Rentals in Florence
More about Florence Vacation Rentals
For many, no trip to Italy is complete without a trip to Florence - in fact, since the time of the Renaissance, Florence has been the envy of other Italian cities. That's because its frescos, sculptures, facades and palazzos have earned the city legendary status among art lovers and history buffs alike. While much of this work was commissioned by noble families like the Medicis in the Renaissance, Florentine history dates back to the Romans, and to this day Roman relics can be found on the outskirts of the city, such as the ruins found in Fiesole. But while most visit Florence for its art and its history, others come to experience the vibrancy of the city itself, and to sample some of its cuisine - from prosciutto with melon to the famed Tuscan olive oil that has gained world renown, Florence is also known as a required destination for foodies the world over. With so much to offer, it's no surprise that Florence vacation rentals have also been a mainstay of the city's tourism scene for years as well.
Staying in a Florence Vacation Rental Instead of a Hotel
Though a variety of hotels can be found in Florence, the premium placed on real estate within the city's more historic districts requires them to almost necessarily be small and expensive. While Florence vacation rentals may not be that much bigger, they certainly afford travelers more space than a single, cramped room, and in any case they are available at a much lower price than most hotel rooms. Owners in Florence also tend to decorate their rentals with local artwork, giving each rental a unique flare that a hotel room can't match. Lastly, these rentals are often located in the oldest parts of the city, meaning your rental may be facing a palazzo with a beautiful façade, or it may be overlooking one of Florence's famed piazzas.
Travelling to your Florence Vacation Rental
Transportation into Florence is not generally a problem, as the city is home to a high number of railway stations, and the city itself is also served by a tramway, making it very pedestrian-friendly. In fact, several of the streets are pedestrian only, while the streets you can drive on are often one-way and extremely narrow, making navigating the city by car considerably more difficult than by foot. As such, a car rental is not required for exploring the city of Florence itself, especially since most Florence vacation rentals are in the heart of the city itself, although travelers may wish to rent a car for a day or two in order to drive through the legendary Tuscan countryside that surrounds Florence.

Testimonials:
"My clients have decided on accommodation. The owner called me immediately after receiving my inquiry. He gave me more info on his property and really sold me on it. I in turn, sold my client on it. I appreciated that he pays commission on his advertised prices. Thanks again for your pro-active responses. "
